Strained (Myles' Song)

In November of 2020, Myles Maiman passed away at the age of 24, following a sudden illness. He was the lead singer in the band “Side Quest” and had recently come out with a rock song titled “Strained.” The band never had the chance to record the song, so his parents, Bryan and Crystal, approached us about recording it for them, hoping it would allow Myles’ legacy to endure. While his parents gave us artistic freedom with the musical aspect of the song, we all felt the lyrics (Myles’ main contribution) should remain the same. So we “Lone Canary’d” the song (as Bryan would say) and produced what we hope is a beautiful tribute to a life lost entirely too soon.

Bryan and Crystal, we love you and are honored to have been chosen to champion this song. Thank you.
